In June 2020 Rotarians and many ‘enlisted’ volunteers put in a mighty effort to clean up what many regard is Taveuni’s best beach – Prince Charles.
This beautiful oasis fronting the Somosomo Strait is used by many of the residents of the northern end of Taveuni and tourists who stumble on this gem.
It was a great day of hard work, fellowship and left all who participated with a sense of satisfaction at a job well done.
Special thanks to Ruiz Truck Hire for the use of the tray truck – more than 20 cubic metres of rubbish was removed!
THANK YOU TO THE VOLUNTEERS WHO ASSISTED THE ROTARY CLUB OF TAVEUNI
Suncity for the food and refreshments
